DC & Maryland Hope Galas a Smashing Success!

JDRF GCP Youth Ambassadors at the 30th Annual JDRF MD Hope Gala

With November’s National Diabetes Awareness Month (NDAM) at an end, the JDRF Greater Chesapeake & Potomac staff are looking forward to relaxing and spending the holiday season with our families. We could not leave our community for the holidays without a HUGE thank you to our JDRF community of volunteers and donors who have contributed true passion to a successful fundraising and advocacy month.

With contributions still coming in, the combined total from both the Washington, DC and Baltimore Hope Galas is currently over $3.1 million raised for T1D research! This could all not have been possible without your stellar support.

We are humbled by the leaders in our community who have given their time, resources and energy so that we can provide funding for ground-breaking research.

With your help, we know that a world without T1D is possible. Thank you all for your support in making a difference in the lives of all people affected by T1D.  We hope you and your family have a wonderful holiday season and we look forward to continuing to strive for a cure in 2018!
