Hope Gala a Smashing Success!

With contributions still coming in, the 18th Annual JDRF Hope Gala has so far brought in $2 million and counting for game-changing type 1 diabetes (T1D) research! This could not have been possible without our community’s stellar support.

The JDRF Capital Chapter staff would like to thank the volunteers and donors who have contributed true dedication to successful fundraising and advocacy these past few months for helping to make our season brighter.

We are humbled by the leaders in our community who have given their time, resources so that we can provide funding for ground-breaking research and therapies. We would also like to send a very special thank you to our Gala leadership including: Gala Co- Chairs, Steve & Tamara Pann; Honoree, Total Wine & More; Rapaport Lifetime Service Award Winners, Doug & Shelley Lowenstein; and Fund A Cure Speaker, Ethan Pann. All of these individuals enabled the Hope Gala to be the success that it was and we are grateful for their commitment to the JDRF mission of a world without T1D.
