The Mid-Atlantic Chapter’s 2023 One Walk Season Was One For The Books

in ,

Another amazing JDRF One Walk season is in the books and the JDRF Mid-Atlantic team would like to extend a heartfelt THANK YOU for your hard work, dedication, and passion in Hampton Roads, Richmond, Baltimore, and Washington DC! What a memorable season we had across the Mid-Atlantic, including at our volunteer-led Community Walks!

BECAUSE OF YOU we raised over $1.1 million during the 2023 JDRF One Walk Season!

JDRF’s partnership with YOU, our JDRF family, is crucial if we are to realize our shared vision – a world without type 1 diabetes (T1D). With your generous support and commitment, we are driving research across the entire scientific and development spectrum – from discovery in the lab to delivery to patients. Measurable progress is being made toward therapies that will change the lives of the millions affected by T1D. This is only possible because of your generosity and the countless donations you secured for your walk teams.

Walk Day is over, but our work is not done. As a reminder, your team can continue to fundraise until July 1st. Please be mindful of the below Walk deadlines:

WALK FUNDRAISING DEADLINES

  • June 6 | Fundraising deadline for all individual walker prizes available to those who raise $500 or more.
  • June 30 | Fundraising deadline for any walker who wishes to raise $100 and receive the official 2023 JDRF One Walk t-shirt.
  • July 1 | Fundraising deadline for Team Walk pages for those who wish to continue to raise funds for JDRF’s mission after the Walk event. This is also the deadline for the JDRF One Walk donations which can be mailed to the JDRF Mid-Atlantic Office. Once again, we are so grateful to you for the amazing work that you do! Let’s continue to fight for the cure together, until Type One becomes Type None!
