The JDRF Mid-Atlantic Chapter is so excited to announce that applications are currently open for our Youth Ambassador Program in the DC & VA markets!

This program is made up of children with type 1 diabetes (T1D), between the ages of 6 and 18, who are interested in becoming involved with the educational and volunteer efforts of the JDRF Mid-Atlantic Chapter.

Our goal is to empower our YAs by providing them with opportunities to advance our shared mission – a world without T1D. Opportunities range from participating in JDRF virtual events, representing JDRF in the community, and YA activities where you will be surrounded by individuals with similar philanthropic principles and the desire to one day cure T1D and its complications.

We hope you will choose to participate in the JDRF YA Program this year. We need your voice, your participation, and your leadership.

The deadline to apply for the YA Program has been extended to November 15, 2020. To request an application, please contact Emily Landry at elandry@jdrf.org as soon as possible.
