Guest Speaker: Sapna Bhambhani, PharmD, BCPPS

Sapna Bhambhani received her Bachelors and Doctorate degrees in Pharmacy from Rutgers, Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy in New Jersey. She specialized in pediatrics and began her career as a pediatric clinical pharmacist working at various children’s hospitals in the New York and New Jersey area, most recently Saint Peter’s University Hospital where she worked for the past nine years, before joining Provention Bio. Sapna lives in Westfield, New Jersey with her husband, Tom, and daughter, Sarina (13), and loves going to the beach, reading, listening to music, spending time with family and friends and especially watching her daughter play ice hockey. Since her daughter was diagnosed with T1D at age 8, Sapna has become a passionate advocate for people living with T1D and currently serves in several volunteer leadership roles at the New Jersey Metro and Rockland County chapter including Advocacy Team Chair, Board Member, and lead volunteer on the Medical Advisory Committee. Sapna and her family have participated in five One Walks, raising over $20,000. Her passion and dedication to improving the lives of those with T1D is what brings her to Provention Bio and what drives her to volunteer at JDRF.
