Help us Paint the Town Blue for National Diabetes Awareness Month

November is National Diabetes Awareness Month (NDAM) and JDRF has all you need to help increase awareness and advocate for more knowledge about this disease affecting millions. Join us in our efforts to paint the town Blue for the Month of November no matter where you live in the Rocky Mountains!

Help us raise awareness all month long by wearing BLUE on Friday’s and encouraging your school or workplace to do the same!Ā  Encourage wearing blue for a cause and ask your school work workplace to host a Friday Fundraiser: donate $1 to JDRF to wear jeans on Friday!

Light the Night with JDRF

Buildings and monuments all over the world and right here in Colorado will be lighting up BLUE for World Diabetes Day.Ā  Ā  Elitches Theme Park, The Denver Clock Tower, The Broadmoor and more have all agreed to light up BLUE for JDRF on the evening of Monday, November 13th in honor of World Diabetes Day on November 14th.Ā  Do you know somewhere you’d like to see light up?Ā  Contact Kelli Raleigh at JDRF Rocky Mountain for details about how to make this happen!Ā  Ā Kraleigh@jdrf.orgĀ

Do you have a Facebook page?

Let everyone know you support JDRF and someone with Type 1 diabetes by changing your profile picture to our #T1DLooksLikeMe filter.Ā  Ā  Ā You don’t have to have type 1 to use this filter because we ARE all JDRF and we all live with the daily burdens of Type 1 Diabetes, and we ALL want a cure.Ā  Ā Create your own T1D footprint for the T1D in your life and share with your friends why it’s so important to support T1D Research and JDRF!
