Q: Where is the JDRF Dream Gala being held on Saturday? 

A: The Hyatt Regency Denver at Colorado Convention Center, located at 650 15th St., Denver, CO 80202. Please click here for directions.

Q: Where should I park when I arrive at the Hyatt?

A: Downtown Denver is extremely busy on a Saturday evening so we recommend utilizing services like Lyft, Uber or taking a form of public transportation as parking is limited on site at the Hyatt Regency. You can click here for a Parking Map.

Q: When should I arrive on April 13?

A: The Dream Gala’s timeline is as follows:

• 4:30 PM | VIP Pre-Event Research Reception | Hyatt Regency Denver – Peaks Lounge | Invitation Only- RSVP Now
  • Guests can check-in at Registration before heading up to the 27^th Floor Peaks Lounge.  We’ll be joined by guests like Dr. Peter Chase, our 20^th Anniversary Honoree, and impactful JDRF-funded researcher leaders.
  • Are you attending the VIP Research Reception? Please make sure to RSVP today!
• 5:30 PM | Cocktails and Silent Auction
• 7:30 PM | Seated Dinner, Live Auction and Fund A Cure
• Immediately Following | After Party and Entertainment
  • Featuring music, dancing and the Dream Gala Milkshake Bar, Presented by Patron and Bonnie Brae Ice Cream

Q: What is the dress code? 

A: Black tie optional.

Q: Who are the honorees this year?

Q: Are there still hotel rooms available at The Hyatt?

 Q: If I have individuals who can’t attend, but still want to participate, how can they do this? How do I make sure my guests are included in mobile bidding?

A: There are a few ways for guests to participate in the 2019 JDRF Dream Gala:

Q: What all is included in the 2019 Live Auction?

Q: When does mobile bidding open?

A: Today! The silent auction will again be completely electronic via your smartphone!

• For the best experience and early access to the silent auction, all guests should provide a 10-digit cell phone number to JDRF as soon as possible!
• If you have submitted your cell phone number, you will receive a text message when mobile bidding launches! Simply launch the personal link to bid early and often right from your phone!
• Make sure leave home Saturday with a fully charged smartphone – a charging station will be provided on Saturday.

Q: What is Fund A Cure?

A: Fund A Cure is the opportunity in the Gala Program to raise your paddle and commit to investing in critical research advancements – in fact, 100% of your gift during Fund A Cure will go directly to research! Life changing breakthroughs in T1D therapies are taking place as we speak, and the Fund A Cure portion of the evening provides another opportunity to make a commitment to a cure during the paddle raiser at the end of the program.

Q: How many people are expected to attend and how much are we trying to raise for JDRF mission work?

A: Over 500 guests will attend and our collective goal is to raise $875,000 at Saturday’s JDRF Dream Gala! Thank you for joining us in support of JDRF, and our shared goal of achieving a world free of type 1 diabetes. JDRF is the leading global organization funding type 1 diabetes (T1D) research and has invested more than $2 billion in research funding since our inception. JDRF is proud to have over $13.5 million in active research funding right here in Colorado!
