Advocates from across the country will soon conduct meetings with their members of Congress through JDRF’s Promise to Remember Me Campaign. This campaign gives voice to the type 1 diabetes (T1D) community; advances key issues; and offers a unique opportunity for individuals and families to join Congressional meetings and share their experiences of life with T1D.

The campaign will be conducted July 11 through September 2, and participants will attend online trainings, so they are fully prepared for meetings with their representatives. Advocates will ideally represent a wide range of experiences and backgrounds that include newly diagnosed families to those who have aged into Medicare, with diverse backgrounds and economic circumstances.
