A Meet & Greet with the Utah T1D Community

in

The Mountain West Chapter is pleased to announce that we will once again be hosting a TypeOneNation Summit Meet & Greet for the Utah type 1 diabetes (T1D) community!

We invite newly diagnosed individuals and families to join us on the evening of Wednesday, November 16, for this free educational event. We will be offering opportunities to learn more about who JDRF is and how we serve the T1D community locally and nationally. There will also be plenty of time to meet JDRF staff and volunteers who can share their personal experiences with the organization and with life with T1D. No matter if you’ve lived with T1D for 10 minutes or 10 years, all are invited to meet and mingle with your local T1D community members!

Newly diagnosed individuals and their families, friends and caregivers will find our programming especially beneficial to the beginnings of their T1D journeys. More information will be released soon!

We will also be hosting a Q&A featuring panelists with unique experiences with JDRF and with T1D. To ensure any questions you have about your T1D journey can receive answers, please submit them ahead of time!

Please note that while this event is family-friendly, and we do encourage you to invite your family members, there will be no Kids Camp offered at this event and no official childcare will be available.

We can’t wait to gather together once again at Scheels in Sandy, UT, on November 16!
