Walk Day is a special day for multiple reasons.  It’s the most special, we think, for those who have T1D.  For this reason, we like to spotlight those living with T1D along our Walk route.  We hope that you’ll participate in this fun program!

We are again asking our families to create their own sign to spotlight their T1D’s and be spotlighted along the walk route.  These signs are meant to highlight those we Walk for – show their personality, favorite things, talents, etc.  Make them feel special at the Walk!

To participate in this program, simply pick up a blank sign (or use your sign from last year) from one of our specified pick-up/drop off locations, help your T1D decorate the sign to their taste and drop off at one of the same locations prior to Walk Day.  Signs will be located in a plastic bin with JDRF label on them, usually on the porch of the home (or right within the office/entry).

We are asking that you use our sign stock to make sure there is uniformity and we can adequately display the signs on Walk Day with our hardware.  Please make sure to deliver your completed sign prior to Walk Day so that we are able to get them on the route.  Please do not just bring your sign the morning of the Walk – we will be unable to accommodate late arrivals.
