Give to Lincoln Day is a giving day event that encourages everyone to contribute to Lincoln and Lancaster County nonprofit organizations through a single online giving platform between May 1 and May 28. Give to Lincoln Day is coordinated by Lincoln Community Foundation, in partnership with local nonprofits. The purpose of Give to Lincoln Day is to promote philanthropy in Lincoln and Lancaster County: introduce new donors to nonprofits, help nonprofits raise awareness about their causes and the impact they have the community, and to raise a substantial amount of new money to assist the local nonprofit network.

Every donation given makes a bigger impact because nonprofits also get a proportional share of a $500,000 challenge match fund provided by Lincoln Community Foundation and the sponsors listed on this site. Since the first Give to Lincoln Day in 2012, the event has raised $26 million for local nonprofits.
