Palm Research Center has three new studies for people with type 1 diabetes!

If you qualify to participate in any of our studies, all diabetic testing supplies will be provided to you and you will be compensated for your time and travel.

Enrolling January 2020
A study comparing TOUJEO® and TRESIBA®. Potential participants must be between the ages of 18 and 70 years old, and previously treated with multiple daily injections for at least one year. The study is 18 weeks.

Enrolling January 2020
A study comparing a new Insulin Lispro Injection vs Humalog. Potential participants must be between the ages of 18 and 70 years old, and who have also been on an approved basal-bolus insulin regimen for at least 6 months prior to screening. The study is 26 weeks of treatment.

Enrolling February 2020
A study for people with type 1 diabetics previously treated with multiple daily injection therapy. Participants will be given a new ONCE WEEKLY, long acting, basal insulin. Participants must be at least 18 years old at the time of screening.


We continue to have the TrialNet screening study for antibodies available at both of our locations. This study is to assess risk of developing type 1 diabetes for relatives of those living with T1D. You are welcome to schedule an appointment Monday – Friday 7:30-4pm.
