On Saturday, May 11, 2019 at the Boston Marriott Copley Place, we will once again be displaying beautiful portraits of people living with type 1 diabetes (T1D) at the JDRF Boston Gala. These photos will be taken by Portrait Simple, who are generously donating their time and services. Please feel free to bring family members, friends, colleagues, coaches, mentors, or anyone close to you to be part of the photography session. Portrait Simple has a number of convenient locations – view them here to decide which location is best for you and your family.

If you are interested in having your child or yourself featured at this year’s Gala, you can request an appointment by clicking here . The sessions will only be scheduled during a two week period, beginning Monday, March 18 and ending Sunday, March 31. Your session will include a 30-minute shoot and an opportunity to view the photos. Kindly note, these appointments are limited and will be filled on a first come, first served basis. Each person photographed will receive one complimentary 8×10 portrait as a thank you. If you would like to purchase additional prints, Portrait Simple is happy to extend a 25% discount.
