My name is Caleb DeJong and I am the 2018 Youth Ambassador for the JDRF One Walk in Stevens Point.  I was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes at the age of 7.  I am currently a sophomore at Merrill High School. My family has been involved with JDRF over the last 5 years and every year we walk for my team “Caleb’s Crazy Crusaders”.  It is a great time and fun for the whole family.

My family and I invite you to attend the upcoming JDRF One Walk in Stevens Point.  My dad and mom, Jared and Jessica, remember being nervous to come to their first JDRF Walk with me.  Our first team was just my dad, my mom, my younger brother Jackson, and me.  After our first walk we realized what a great event it was and we kept coming back year after year, but with more people on our team!
