The 15th Annual JDRF Celebrity Gala honoring Jeff & Genny Jones is celebrating raising over $515,000 and counting to accelerate life-changing breakthroughs to cure, prevent, and treat type 1 diabetes (T1D) and its complications.

The crowd participated in a silent and live auction, bidding on items including Dinner with Aaron Jones, VIP Tickets to The Voice, and a trip to Cancun. The evening ended with the signature JDRF Fund A Cure which was presented by Mark Matthiae of Mosinee.  Mark offered a new perspective on the Type 1 Diabetes experience.  He told the story of his grandson, Noah and how his family battles this disease every day. Fund A Cure is a staple of the JDRF Gala program. Guests raised their bid cards enthusiastically, knowing 100 percent of all tax-deductible contributions will fund research for JDRF’s most crucial research priorities. This year Fund A Cure raised over $215,000! Amazing!
