RSVP Today: Mission & Research Update

in

Join JDRF Northeast Wisconsin as we welcome guest speaker, Pat McFeeley, for a Mission & Research Update. Pat and his wife, Shauna, became involved with JDRF in 1999, shortly after their twin daughters, Ashley and Maddie, were diagnosed with type 1 diabetes (T1D) at ages one and two.

This evening is dedicated to learning about exciting developments in T1D research and how YOUR support is driving discoveries to improve the lives of people with T1D.

Kidā€™s Program: Kids aged 4-12 will learn about common birds found at Bubolz and their adaptations that make them unique from other classes of animals. This program will include hands on learning with different feathers and nests of birds found here at Bubolz and an activity teaching about different types of bird beaks. This is a great way for parents to focus on the JDRF Research Update while the kids have fun!
