On Saturday, October 5th more than 330 people came together to raise awareness and funds for the JDRF One Walk in Stevens Point.  It was an inspiring day for all of our families. To date they have raised over $100,000! It may have been cold, wet, and rainy but all we saw at the JDRF One Walk-Stevens Point were smiles!!

 

Our 2019 Youth Ambassador, Carrie,  spoke to the crowd and got the Walk Kicked Off. She said, “Having T1D doesn’t hold me back from doing the things I love.” See her speech HERE.

 

 

 

All and all the day was fun filled with lots of time for families to connect and support each other.  A special thank you to the Walk Committee, Volunteers, Team Captains, Sponsors and Walkers. Thank you for making it such a great day for our loved ones with T1D!
