Kristi Caporoso will be partnering with two of our Youth Ambassadors, Brianna and Keyonna, to lead the morning Teen Talk.  Teen Talk is intended for teens ages 14-19  to come together, ask questions and share ideas with one another.

Parents, you’ll be in a different session – this one is for teens only!

Kristi Caporoso, MSW, LSW

Kristi is a licensed social worker living in Northern NJ. She works with children and families at Hackensack UMC in pediatric specialty services.

Kristi was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at thirteen months of age and has been living with T1D for 26 years. She enjoys running, writing, and being involved in the T1D community both online and in person. She runs a blog, Diabetic Truths, where she shares her perspective of the everyday realities of living with T1D.

Interested in joining a Teen Talk?  Keep an eye on our calendar of events as we currently have two Teen Talks that meet in Morris County and Bergen County.  We are working with local volunteers to start one in the southern part of the chapter as well!
