volunteergroups2It’s Walk Day and maybe you need an extra push to feel energized or cross that finish line. Then, you look around and you see all the volunteer groups who have been there since 6AM – one of these troopers may have just given you a banana and a coffee – Ā or you spot the cheerleaders ready to cheer you on and you know you can do volunteergroups3it! These groups are priceless on Walk Day. Not only do they entertain and encourage us, but they provide extra help at the information tents, make sure you get your preference of sandwiches at lunch, and just warm you up with their smiles.
