Volunteer at the 2017 JDRF One Walk

The 2016 JDRF One Walk is open for registration and taking place this fall in four locations around the Bay Area:

Monterey Peninsula
October 1, 2017 at Lover’s Point Park

Santa Clara 
October 8, 2017 at Levi’s Stadium

San Ramon
October 15, 2017 at Bishop Ranch Park

San Francisco
October 22, 2017 on the Great Meadow at Fort Mason

We want this year’s One Walk to be the most successful yet…and we need your help!

We are looking for eager, passionate, dedicated individuals to join our Walk planning team to help build and develop this incredible celebration of the human spirit.

Various planning roles are available including:

Logistics

– Lunch (Make people happy by giving them food!)
– Breakfast (Ok, you can sneak a banana)
– Parking (Check out the rides!)
– Set Up (We think of this more as a pre-party!)
– Clean Up (We think of this more as an after-party!)

Sponsorship (Do you have a rolodex?)
Kid’s Activities (Who doesn’t love kids?)
Entertainment (Speaks for itself)
Registration (Say hello to your fellow walkers!)

Family Team Ambassadors (What a way to make a difference!)

Time commitment varies depending on the role you choose…anywhere from 1-10 hours a month. Each and every role makes a big impact on Walk day. We’ll match you up with opportunities that maximize your talents and skills.
