Ride to Cure Diabetes coming to Northern California in 2019!

If you haven’t heard by now, the 2019 Ride to Cure Diabetes schedule has been released and a ride will be taking place in Northern California!

“Join us August 22-25, 2019 at our newest location in the heart of California wine country. Starting in Santa Rosa, this ride takes you through the heart of Marin and Sonoma counties, over vineyard-covered hills and along the famous Pacific coastline of Route 1.”

To learn more about the ride scheduled for northern California and to kick off the 2019 Ride season, Ride Team NorCal, invites you to join them on Wednesday January 16 from 5:30-7:30pm at Hot Italian, 1627 16th St, Sacramento, CA 95814. This social get-together will celebrate the opening of registration for the 2019 season and provide an opportunity for cycling enthusiasts to learn more about the Ride to Cure program.  Additionally, members of Team NorCal talk about their experiences from the 2018 JDRF Ride and answer any questions you might have regarding participation.

If you can’t make the Kick- Off event and want to learn more about the Ride to Cure program, or just spend time on your bike with a great group of JDRF friends, Ride Team NorCal also invites you to join them on their Social Ride series. On select Saturday’s starting in December and running through next August, riders of all ages and skill levels are invited to join Team NorCal’s Social Rides. All rides begin at 9:00 a.m. and conclude by noon, covering 25-30 miles along the American River. The trail embarks from the Gold River Bel Air at 2155 Golden Centre Ln, Gold River, CA 95670.

No commitment to participate in Ride to Cure is required or expected. The rides will take place on Saturday December 8th, January 12th, February 9th, March 9th, April 13th, May 11th, June 8th, July 13th, and August 10th.
