Coloma River Run – May, 2019

In late spring, join us for Coloma River Run. Whether you’re trying the ‘couch to 5K’ training program or a regular runner, this 5K, 10K, 10-Mile race is great for walkers and runners of any age!

The 5K race is relatively flat turning left along the Gerly Loop, while the steeper 10K and 10-mile races climb the connector trail and wrap around Conan Ranch. All three runs begin at 8:00 a.m. from the Magnolia Parking Lot, located off Highway 49 in the Cronan Ranch Trail Area.

Unique this year, the Coloma River Run will serve as a taper race for the Gold Country Half Marathon scheduled two weeks later. Roger Leasure, founder of Coloma River Races shared, “we’re thrilled to partner with the Sacramento Running Association to combine efforts and offer runners this unique run experience”.  You can learn more about the 2019 Gold Country Half Marathon at https://runsra.org/gold-country-run/

Even if you’re not a runner or can’t make the run dates, you can still support JDRF and the type one community by making a contribution.  Visit our fundraising page at www2.jdrf.org/goto/CRR and help us in turning type one into type none!

Coloma River Races were founded by Roger and Salena Leasure to combine healthy lifestyle choices with meaningful fundraising opportunities. They found inspiration in the beautiful landscapes of Coloma and their home for the past 12 years. They are also are parents to two children living with T1D.
