JDRF Welcomes New Board Members

in

We are honored to welcome three new members to our Board of Directors.  Each individual brings their own unique skills, experience and passion to help steward the JDRF chapter with the goal of supporting the T1D community and advancing essential diabetes research.

Dr. Greg Bricca

Greg is the owner and physician at California Skin Surgery Center.  Greg and his family were first introduced to JDRF when daughter Marisa was diagnosed with type one diabetes at age 7.  Vince Juarez, Board member, and his family provided the Bricca’s with a Bag of Hope.  Since that time, Greg and his family have been involved with several JDRF events including the One Party Gala and Salmon Falls 50K.

Bob Poole

Bob is a partner at Dome Printing.  In 2012, Bob’s niece was diagnosed with type one diabetes.  A few years following her diagnosis, his friend Greg Vaughn, and JDRF Board member, introduced Bob and his family to JDRF.  Since that time, they have been involved with JDRF whether attending events such as the Greg Vaughn Celebrity Golf Tournament and Gala, as well as providing in-kind printing resources to those and other JDRF events.  Bob was also our Honoree at our 2018 One Party Gala.

Lisa Stanton

Lisa recently retired from her position as Chief Operating Officer / Assistant Airport Director with the Sacramento County Dept. of Airports.  Lisa’s connection to type one and JDRF began after her granddaughter, Madison, was diagnosed at three years old.  She and her husband Scott immediately sought resources and information and were led to JDRF online.  Her husband Scott is also involved with JDRF and in August will be participating in the Ride to Cure in Sonoma!

Welcome to all of our new Board members!
