Two weeks ago, we announced a new fall date for our One Party Gala. Unfortunately, based on the continued restrictions for large in person gatherings and out of concern for our T1D community, we have decided to transition to a ‘virtual’ Gala event.

If you’re wondering what a virtual Gala event might look like, we’re happy to share it has all of the components of a traditional Gala event but viewed online. Instead of sitting in a hotel ballroom, you’ll have an opportunity to watch the Gala from the comfort of your home! Features will include the latest in JDRF funded research, presentation of our Honoree award, the opportunity to bid on fantastic auction items, and an opportunity to support the mission of JDRF to improve lives and accelerate life-changing breakthroughs to cures. Maybe the biggest difference is what you wear! Whether tuxedo and gown, summer shorts and t-shirts, or even your pajamas – all are appropriate for a virtual Gala event!

The One Party Virtual Gala will take place on Saturday, June 27^th with the program beginning at 7:00 PM and lasting less than an hour. If you would like to join us, please register as a guest here.  There’s no cost to participate, although we do hope you find some items to bid on and will consider supporting Fund A Cure, where your donation goes 100% to support type 1 diabetes research!

The week of the gala you will receive an email on how to join the live-stream event, as well as a link to bid on auction items.

These are challenging times and we recognize the struggles many of you are facing. We hope that you will join us, as well as invite others, if even to hear the inspiring stories demonstrating the difference your support continues to make for T1D’s worldwide.
