This year, the Northern California Inland Chapter hosted its first-ever VIRTUAL One Party Gala and because of YOU, we raised over $200,000!

We want to thank our amazing Honoree, Earnie Franklin, Chief Operating Officer at VSP Global, for his inspirational story and commitment to JDRF and the type 1 diabetes (T1D) community; our Fund A Cure Chairs Gabe and Sarah Tierney who highlighted the challenges for their two children, Finn and Rowan, managing the daily struggles of life with T1D. We are also deeply grateful to Mark S. Allen from ABC10 who joined us again as our event emcee and as always, brought laughter and fun to the evening!

The support raised at this year’s event is more important than ever as the coronavirus pandemic has put critical, life-altering research in a precarious position; disrupting momentum and impacting progress. Because of them, we were able to transition the Gala into a virtual experience with over 450 participants from around the globe!
