New Clinical Trial Finds Varapamil Slows T1D Progression in Newly Diagnosed Youth
A new JDRF-funded clinical trial suggests a potential path to keeping insulin-producing beta cells healthier for longer – meaning the body will still make insulin for more time, known as the “honeymoon” phase – for newly diagnosed children and teens. Read more.

JDRF NorCal Presents Chapter Awards & Special Recognition at Annual Meeting
On February 28th at The City Club of San Francisco, the JDRF Northern California Chapter held its Annual Meeting & Research Discussion. The evening included Chapter awards and special recognition presented to outstanding members of our type 1 diabetes (T1D) community:
