We’re thrilled to announce our Corporate Chair for the 2023 JDRF One Walk, NorCal: Al Williams, Vice President of Corporate Affairs at Chevron Corporation. The Corporate Chair, in partnership with JDRF staff and volunteers, helps lead our efforts in accelerating corporate and community support for the Walk. JDRF NorCal Welcomes New Members to our Community Board

With much gratitude, we welcome new and returning members to our  JDRF Northern California Chapter Community Board: Dr. Marina Basina, Debra Dommen, Jason Skeoch, Chris Tapio, and Jenny Williams. The Smallest Artificial Pancreas System Receives FDA Clearance

Last month, Tandem Mobi—a miniature-sized insulin pump, for use with Tandem’s Control-IQ™ technology and a compatible continuous glucose monitor (CGM)—received FDA clearance. The Tandem Mobi is half the size of the company’s t:slim X2™ insulin pump, making it the world’s smallest artificial pancreas system. Read more.

The JDRF 2023 Children’s Congress NorCal Delegates Are Back from Washington, DC!

The JDRF 2023 Children’s Congress took place July 9 – July 11 in Washington, DC. We are especially proud of our eight Northern California Delegates who made a big impact on Capitol Hill. They courageously shared their personal stories, face to face with our nation’s policymakers, advocating for Federal funding T1D research insulin affordability.
