ADCES Meeting Brings Together Health Care Specialists in Diabetes

The annual Association of Diabetes Care & Education Specialists (ADCES) meeting brings together clinicians, researchers, and industry leaders together to address key issues affecting people with diabetes. This year, the meeting took place in Houston, Texas, from August 4-7, 2023 and featured presentations from Sanjoy Dutta, Ph.D., chief scientific officer at JDRF, and Anastasia Albanese-O’Neill, Ph.D., APRN, CDCES, JDRF’s director of community screening and clinical trials education. Read the highlights.

The JDRF Walktoberfest is Back!

Longtime walkers may remember the super fun Walktoberfest that happened in celebration of the JDRF One Walk each year in San Francisco. The JDRF NorCal Young Leadership Committee (YLC) is bringing it back with all the festivities, miniature golf, good food and drinks, with proceeds benefiting JDRF. It’s happening at Stagecoach Greens in San Francisco on Wednesday, October 11, 6:00pm – 9:00pm. This is a family-friendly and FREE event. Register for Walktoberfest.
