Join JDRF for a VIRTUAL presentation and panel for teens and parents transitioning to independent living with T1D. Local Pediatric Endocrinologist, Dr. Tariq Ahmad, will present helpful information on navigating the ins and outs for teen T1Ds as they transition from home to college and beyond. Topics cover self-advocacy and student rights, roommate communications, safe consumption of alcohol (and drugs), and more. A panel discussion with current and former college students, parents, and medical professionals will follow. This event begins at 5:00 pm Pacific Time.
