2018 Melbourne One Walk Leadership

Peter J Mannino
Vice President, Merrill Lynch
2018 JDRF Melbourne One Walk Chair

Peter joined Merrill Lynch in 2005 helping to support the management team of the Central Florida Market.  Early in his career he became an Administrative Manager focused on risk and compliance management, and held that role in Orlando, FL, Palm Springs, CA, and Newport Beach, CA.  During his time as an Administrative Manager, Peter also had exposure to special projects with the Firm’s business in the United Kingdom, and has acted as an assessor and mentor for new leadership candidates.

In January of 2017 Peter joined the Orndorf Wealth Management Group as a Financial Advisor, and is the first Resident Director of the newly combined Merrill Lynch office in Brevard County.  Peter has always enjoyed volunteering and community involvement, and since moving to Brevard County has become involved with JDRF, Brevard Neighborhood Development Coalition, Brevard Rescue Mission and Habitat for Humanity.  He also has a passion for anything related to aviation.  Peter has been married to his wife, Jenna since 2007.  They have two small children, Noah (4 years of age), and Jaden (2 years of age).  Prior to joining Merrill Lynch he had a career in the Hospitality Industry, and graduated from Johnson & Wales University with a B.S. in Hospitality Management.

“I have a close colleague with a child that has T1D and as I’ve witnessed her strength in caring for him while managing the rest of her family life and professional life, it has motivated me to support JDRF over the last several years.  At the 2017 One Walk here in Brevard I also had the opportunity to meet countless families who are not only living with T1D, but fighting year after year to help drive research and a cure.  While I have no family members with T1D, I’m driven by the passion I’ve witnessed families have to support the work of JDRF.  Because of that passion, I am honored to serve as Chair of the 2018 One Walk in Brevard and help contribute to the goal of creating a world without T1D.”
