JDRF Northern Florida is excited to announce our presenting sponsors of Tampa Bay’s One Night in the Wild party with a purpose are Dr. Cindy and Matt White. Cindy and Matt are longtime supporters of JDRF and our mission to turn Type One into Type NONE.

Matt’s wife, Cindy, was diagnosed with T1D while the two were in college and Matt has been by her side through her entire T1D journey. In recent years, Matt got involved with the local chapter of JDRF and has been actively involved ever since. For over seven years, Matt and his company, Meter Technology Werks, along with Hooked on a Cure (non-profit formed by Matt and Cindy), have been proud supporters of JDRF. Within that time, Matt, Cindy, and their companies have donated over $250,000 to JDRF.

Matt is on the Tampa Bay Community Board of Directors, the Gala Committee, is a Gala and Walk Sponsor, and a JDRF T1D Advocate. He has also recently been nominated for Philanthropist of the Year “Rising Star” through the Tampa Bay Business and Wealth Magazine.
