Thank you for joining us for Saturday’s JDRF Miracles Gala, “Re-Imagined and Closer to Home,” in support of JDRF. Whether you are joining us at home in your living room, at a friend’s home, or while even on the road, the community we build through this virtual gala will have a lasting and meaningful impact on our efforts to create a world without T1D. Our virtual experience will be exciting, memorable, fun, and most importantly we will make a direct impact through fundraising for JDRF’s mission. Below are some helpful tips for you to help you get ready for a fantastic evening celebrating the JDRF Miracles Gala.

Access to our Virtual Experience, Auction & Fund A Cure

To get in on all the action, each guest must register online – early registration is encouraged! Prior to Saturday evening’s virtual Gala (10/17/20) get registered! If you have friends joining you for the gala, share the registration website with them too:  https://one.bidpal.net/jdrfmiraclesgala2020/welcome.
During registration you will be prompted to provide credit card information. Before a guest can bid in the auction and donate to Fund A Cure they must provide credit card information. We encourage guests to register their card upon sign up so they can join in the fun right away! Payment methods will be confirmed prior to processing any credit cards and other methods of payment are allowed post gala including cash, check, stock transfer, DAF, etc.

Once registered, you will have access to our first in class auctions, our Live streamed program, important Gala details, and the ability to make a lasting and important impact on our mission through a 100% tax deductible donation to Fund A Cure.

As a reminder, the official JDRF Miracles Gala virtual gala program will air from 8-9 p.m. on Saturday evening, 10/17, on JDRF North Florida’s YouTube Channel, as well as Facebook Live. Hosted by Nikki Kimbleton and Vic Miccoluci, the program includes mission highlights, entertainment, live auction, Fund A Cure and special guest appearances from Bart Millard of MercyMe and Country music favorite, Eric Paslay.

Sharing Your Why – If Joining with Others

The JDRF Miracles Gala program features a variety of inspiring stories from our T1D community; if you are joining others to watch the gala, we know for your guests it is your story they hold closest and it can inspire outstanding support to our mission through Fund A Cure. People give to people – people give for people – when a community comes together in support of each other, anything is possible. We encourage you to share your why to your guests, whether it be prior to Saturday or during your cocktails and conversation as our program begins. By challenging your guests to dig deep, to be bold, and to give from their hearts when we reach the pivotal and life-changing part of our evening program, Fund A Cure, the power of each of us will be felt as we turn Type One into Type None. Each Fund A Cure donation is directed 100% to JDRF’s mission, and each gift is 100% tax deductible.

Example: Gather your friends together before the show starts. Raise a glass to JDRF and the JDRF Miracles Gala. Specifically share what your family’s contribution will be and why you will make this donation through Fund A Cure. Ask your guests to please consider how they too will join you in making a significant and lasting impact on JDRF’s mission through a donation to Fund A Cure. CHEERS!

• Whether it’s just you and your family, friends, neighbors, colleagues – however you are joining us – in the pool, on the couch, dressed up, casual, in PJ’s – it doesn’t matter! We would love to “see you” and help bring us together even when we are apart!
