Eye and Glucose Free Screening – Dec. 30th

People with diabetes are at risk of losing sight due to diabetes eye disease. It is the leading cause of new-onset blindness in many countries. All people with diabetes – both Type 1 and Type 2 – are at risk. Those with diabetes should get a comprehensive dilated eye exam at least once a year. The St. Augustine Lions Club has taken action to help detect early problems through the Diabetes Awareness and Action Program and will be hosting eye screening and glucose screening on December 30th at the St. Augustine Library from 10:00am-1:00pm. This is a free service provided by the St. Augustine Lions Club. Any questions, please contact Mark at sunshineboy213@yahoo.com.
