Q. This is my first time participating in the walk. What can I expect on Walk day?
A. Walk day is a time to celebrate and honor those who live with type 1 diabetes every day. The Walk site will open at 8:00 am for registration, T-shirt pick up and pre-walk entertainment. The family friendly walk kicks off at 9:00 am. If you would like to participate in the T-shirt contest, please bring one of your shirts to the registration tent for the T-shirt contest. We will announce the winners after the Walk, approximately 10:45 am.

REGISTRATION AND FUNDRAISING
Q. Do all members of my walk team need to register online, including children?
A. Yes! Registering online gives you access to a number of great fundraising resources and lets us keep you updated on the latest JDRF and Walk info. It also gives us an idea of how many people to expect at the Walk, so we can plan ahead for refreshments, T-shirts, and volunteer staffing.

Q. What are the fundraising minimums?
A. All registered guests are invited to participate in the walk. Each walker who raises $100 will receive a JDRF One Walk T-shirt on walk day.

Q. I would like to turn in donations before walk day. How can I do this?
Donations will be accepted at any time in person or by mailing to the JDRF office at 9700 Philips Highway, # 106 Jacksonville, FL 32256

Q. How do I get to the UNF Hodges Stadium and what parking options do I have?
A. Driving Directions to University of North Florida, Hodges Stadium – N. Entrance Rd. Jacksonville, FL 32224 (Hodges Stadium)

From Beach Blvd. (Prefer Route – closest to Stadium)

Get into Left turn lane at Wawa-Take Left onto Central Parkway

Q. Will food be available?
A. Yes! In the morning there will be coffee & Munchkins provided by Dunkin Donuts, fruit and bagels. Firehouse Subs will be providing sandwiches for lunch and Wawa will be providing snacks and water. Water will be available for the entire event. To help with planning for walk day, please remember that walkers of all ages should be registered.

Q. Are dogs/strollers/wagons allowed at the Walk?
A. No pets are allowed, UNF is a Pet Free School with a no pet policy. Strollers and wagons are welcomed!

Q. Will Team Photos be available at the Walk?
A. Team Photos will be captured by Laurence Greene Photography during Pre and Post walk festivities.

Turn in walk money at Check-In in a sealed walker envelope (provided on walk day) between 8:00am-9:00am
All participants raising $100 or more are eligible for a JDRF Walk T-shirt. Please stop by T-shirt area behind the Check-In to get your T-shirt.
T1D’s
All T1D’s will receive a special head buff on walk day. Please visit the New Family Tent.
V1P’s
We recognize the hard work and dedication it takes for an individual to raise $1,000 and we want to honor you as our JDRF One Walk V1P’s! If you have raised $1,000 or more please stop by the V1P area for many special things!
NEW FAMILIES
If this is your FIRST time at a JDRF Walk please stop by the New Family tent! We would love to welcome you in person and give you a welcome bag for your first JDRF walk. Location – The New Family area will be next to the stage.
