2019 Miracles Gala – Thank You All!

Oh, what a night!! The 19th Annual JDRF Miracles Gala, presented by CSX and Florida Blue was nothing short of amazing as 420 members of the North Florida community came together and helped raise $580,000 + to further advance JDRF’s mission of improving lives and curing type 1 diabetes!
It’s hard to find the words to adequately THANK every hand and heart that touched this event and helped make it a huge success!
Our most sincere gratitude goes to this year’s Living and Giving Honoree, Mr. Steve Halverson, to this year’s Gala Chair, Melody Van-Zant, Gala Administrator – Leahan Mayer, Auction Chair – Cynthia Gonzalez, to this year’s Fund A Cure family – the Lindsay Puyau and Daniel Puyau, to JDRF Executive Director – Brooks Brigman Biagini and Development Managers – Alexandra Iannone and Pam Lay Williams, to members of JDRF North Florida’s Board of Directors, to PRI Productions and Sarah Steeg for being first class event producers, to Russell Bloom for the gorgeous plants and foliage, rock-star emcees – Nikki Kimbleton and Vic Micolucci, Stokes Auction Group and Shawn Hamilton, to Storyline Productions for creating an amazing Fund A Cure Video, to PGA TOUR Entertainment for creating an awesome tribute video for our honoree, to amazing photographers – Anita Frattle Levy and Laurence Greene Photography, to the many volunteers who helped set up gala weekend and worked it Saturday night as well, and to the Sawgrass Marriott Golf Resort & Spa – who has proven year after year to be an amazing not only host for the gala, but partner – especially with the leadership of Brooke Hnyla! And, to everyone that attended, hosted a table, brought friends, family and helped ensure your guests had a great time!
