I walk today so one day I could say “I used to have Type 1 Diabetes.” Not only for myself, but for
everyone out there that is affected with T1D.

Over the past 16 years, I’ve participated in over 10 JDRF Queens walks. Every dollar I raise is a dollar
closer to a cure. Over the past few years I’ve hosted fundraiser events at local areas to bring awareness.
This year I am hosting a Paint night at “Painting with a Twist” located in Middle Village, Queens! This
event is planned with raffles and gifts for all those who join. I like to make events fun because all my
supports and new supports come out for a great cause.

With the endless support I have from my family and friends, I have been able to raise a tremendous
amount of money. With every walk I’ve done, the support continues to grow and gives me the hope that
one day we will find a cure.

Lets make Type One into Type NONE.
