The Benaroya Research Institute Research Update: T Cell Edition

On September 3rd JDRF hosted the Benaroya Research Update: T Cell Edition with Dr. Alice Long and Dr. Eddie James from the Benaroya Research Institute at Virginia Mason. The community came together to learn about T1D research and the important work that the team at the Benaroya Research Institute is doing to help prevent, treat, and cure type 1 diabetes (T1D). The Benaroya Research Institute (BRI) is an independent nonprofit research institute focused on the vision of a healthy immune system for all. With a research volume of more than $71 million, research work is funded through grants and philanthropy. Research grants funded through JDRF are awarded through a competitive grant process.
