Dear JDRF Community Members,

JDRF International is devastated by the horrific acts inflicted by terrorists on the Israeli people and we are heartbroken over the ongoing humanitarian tragedy in the Middle East. We have been in close communication with JDRF Israel staff. All are accounted for, uninjured and physically safe, although so many have suffered the tragic loss of loved ones, including some who remain in captivity.  We know that so many of our staff and supporters around the world are also deeply impacted by this tragedy.

Like you, we are concerned about the wellbeing of those living with type 1 diabetes (T1D) in the conflict area. Due to the evolving nature of events, currently we are unable to provide a concrete mechanism for donating to or providing support for people living with T1D in the region. We will update you when we know of ways that our volunteers can provide support.

We send our condolences to all who have lost loved ones and hold in our hearts the innocent civilians throughout the region who continue to be in harm’s way.
