Tell Your Congressman Your Story!

This August and September, JDRF Advocates will be visiting area Congressmen to tell them about life with Type 1 diabetes.  These are called Promise to Remember Me meetings and are held every other year in the Congressman’s local office.  We want them to remember our individual stories and faces when Type 1 diabetes matters come across their desks. Next year, we have the renewal of the Special Diabetes Program to fight for in addition to funding for the FDA and NIH and whatever else might come up.
