Congratulations to the Shearer Family for being August’s Volunteers of the Month! The Shearer’s have been heavily involved in our chapter since their son Jack was diagnosed about five years ago. Parents, J.D. and Carrie, work closely with our Summer Golf Classic each year. They are constantly looking for ways to push the JDRF mission, with J.D. co-chairing the event. Jack and his sister, Abby, are youth ambassadors for our chapter and participate in the Promise Gala, Summer Golf Classic, and so much more. We are so lucky to have such an amazing family helping us Turn Type One into Type None! Thank you, Shearer Family!
