JDRF Western and Central Pennsylvania Chapter Announces New Partnership with Asti’s South Hills Pharmacy

in

The Western and Central Pennsylvania Chapter of JDRF is excited to announce its partnership with Asti’s South Hills Pharmacy.

In the summer of 2005, Dan Asti, the Founder and CEO of Asti’s Pharmacy, recognized that the corporate pharmacy setting limited pharmacists’ ability to make a meaningful impact on people’s lives. Stepping away from the corporate environment, Dan and his wife, Jen, dedicated their expertise to serving the community and founded Asti’s South Hills Pharmacy. Their primary goal? Building lasting relationships while enhancing the well-being of everyone they serve.

Since its inception, with the tremendous contributions from their partners and team, the pharmacy has flourished, providing essential services to numerous communities in the greater Pittsburgh area. Among these communities is our local type one diabetes community.

Asti’s Pharmacy has earned a cherished place in the hearts of many within the type one diabetes community. In fact, Asti’s Pharmacy is deeply committed to delivering top-notch service and care to over 1,000 individuals impacted by type 1 diabetes in our local region.

As a new healthcare partner with JDRF, Asti’s Pharmacy is joining forces with the JDRF Western and Central Pennsylvania Chapter to expand their support beyond traditional pharmacy services and Omnipod deliveries.

Asti’s Pharmacy has pledged to share JDRF resources with their patients, including free JDRF welcome kits suitable for individuals of all ages and stages of type 1 diabetes. This includes the JDRF Bag of Hope (for those aged 11 and under), the JDRF Teen Kit, and the No Limits Adult Kit. Additionally, Asti’s Pharmacy will actively promote opportunities for patients to access support and engage with the type one diabetes community through local JDRF community events, starting from the moment of diagnosis and continuing through their T1D journey.

Astiā€™s Pharmacy Owners Dan Asti and Chris Antypas will be participating in the JDRF One Walk in Pittsburgh on October 28th to offer their full support to the type 1 diabetes community. You can join them by registering your team at walk.jdrf.org.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Asti’s Pharmacy for their commitment to delivering exceptional care and for their unwavering dedication to our community, one prescription at a time!
