On January 17, the South Fayette Lions Varsity hockey team took on their rivals, the Chartiers Valley Colts, at the Mt. Lebanon Ice Center. Joey Trinkala of the South Fayette Lions and Drew Evans of the Chartiers Valley Colts are both living with T1D and chose to band together for a cure, raising a total of $3,035 for JDRF at their hockey game! With a 50/50 raffle, Chuck-A-Puck, t-shirt sales, and an incredible night with their goal being a cure, we’re certain that Joey, Drew, both of their teams, and the community are all true winners.
