Metcalfe’s is excited to have JDRF as its featured Reuse & Choose charity for the month of August 2016. This program has two main parts.

1. 5% discount on all groceries for the person using the bar code on the coupon (CLICK HERE to open and print the coupon) and we will match this at the end of the month for the charity
2. A .10 cents per bag amount for reusing your bags and supporting the charity (Mention to check out you want your dime for the charity).

Metcalfe’s Reuse & Choose Program

Metcalfe’s encourages customers to reuse their bags for a greener tomorrow by giving back $.10 per reusable bag used. Customers can choose to keep the $.10 for themselves or donate the $.10 refund to a local charity. In 2015, Metcalfe’s Reuse & Choose program saved 677,599 paper and plastic grocery bags from being used. Please keep reusing your bags!

During the month of August, Metcalfe’s Market will donate $.10 to JDRF for each and every reusable bag you use. $.10 may not sound like a lot, but it adds up! Last year Metcalfe’s gave back $67,759 in reusable bag rewards with their Reuse & Choose program. Be sure to tell the Cashier that you CHOOSE to donate $.10 per bag to JDRF (or they will automatically take $.10 per bag off your purchase).
