In total, Team Western Wisconsin took part in rides at 5 locations across the country! Congratulations and thank you to all of our Honey Badgers:

Jack Cardwell and Michael Cardwell kicked of the 2016 ride season in Burlington, Vermont on Saturday, July 9.

Team Western Wisconsin had 38 participants in the La Crosse Ride on Saturday, August 13:

Mark Bleifuhs and Jody Montgomery finished the Hincapie Gran Fondo on Saturday, October 22.

The inaugural Ride to Cure Diabetes in Amelia Island was held on October 29 and was a great success! JDRF’s most successful ride raised $3 million dollars thanks to the support of 750 riders.

Team Western Wisconsin had 13 participants—congrats to the following riders:

Last but not least, Morgan Counts and Nate Kilsdonk participated in the El Tour de Tucson on November 19.

The success of the Honey Badgers at all 5 of the Ride to Cure Diabetes locations would not have been possible without the amazing guidance by our coaches: Joe Brady, Kathy Errthum, Kevin Williams, Mark Zander.

If you are interested in learning more about the ride program, there will be “Lunch and Learn” meetings taking place at the JDRF office from 12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m. on the following dates: Wednesday, January 11, Thursday, January 12, and  Tuesday, January 17.

Registration for all five ride locations will open on Wednesday, January 18! Where will you be riding in 2017?
