JDRF Ride to Cure is in Full Swing!

The 2017 JDRF Ride to Cure season kicked off August 10 – 13! More than 500 riders from across the country traveled to La Crosse, WI for the largest ever La Crosse Ride to Cure Diabetes. The weather was perfect as the riders cycled as far as 100 miles along the Mississippi River while raising $1.5 million for T1D research. Thank you to all 50 Honey Badgers who participated in the historic event!

Next up on the JDRF Ride to Cure schedule was the inaugural event in Loveland, CO. From August 24 – August 27, more than 450 riders made their way to Colorado to enjoy the beautiful views and raise $1.8 million for T1D research. Thank you to the riders, crew and tireless volunteers who all made this first Loveland Ride incredibly memorable and impactful. A special thank you goes out to the 30 Honey Badgers who represented Team Western Wisconsin in Loveland.

The JDRF Ride season will continue September 14 – September 17 in Saratoga Springs, NY. Located 25 miles north of Albany, NY, in the southernmost foothills of the Adirondack Region, Saratoga Springs combines the quaintness of New England with the beauty of upstate New York. Team Western Wisconsin will be sending one rider to Saratoga Springs to ride for a cure. Best of luck to Eric, everyone from the JDRF Western Wisconsin Chapter will be cheering you on!
