Another successful Ride Year in the books!

The Northeast Wisconsin Chapter came out in full force for the 2018 JDRF Ride to Cure Diabetes Season.  50 riders participated in 4 different locations this summer and early Fall and collectively raised over $220,000!!!

Our team consisted of 3 amazing Coaches, 10 T1D Riders, 3 Youth Riders, 11 first time riders, and returning riders! Riders participated in Lacrosse, WI, Loveland, CO, Amelia Island, FL and Death Valley, CA.

Highlights of the Ride Season included our very own Dan Woolf being asked to be a National Ride Coach for the Amelia Island Ride, Pat Davidson being recognized as one of the top fundraisers in Amelia Island, Dan and Theresa Knaus being awarded the Promise Jersey, and Team NEWI being recognized as a top fundraising team in 3 of the ride locations!

The JDRF Ride isn’t just a bike ride: it’s where hundreds of riders come together from all over the world to make new friendships, experience the unparalleled camaraderie of the Ride community and raise money to find a cure for T1D.
