Jeff is Executive V.P. of Sales at American Foods Group .  He has worked for the parent company for over 26 years.  As part of the Leadership team at AFG he has been very involved in supporting different organizations that directly support those in the Green Bay area.  Now he is leading the way to gain support for JDRF.

Genny has been a Registered Nurse for over 30 years.  Although she has retired from her nursing career she is busier than ever managing the Jones’ household and volunteering her time.  Some of her new roles include: working as a CASA (court appointed special advocate-for kids within the child protection system), delivering Meals on Wheels, facilitating a woman’s bible study, teaching religious education, and bringing the family dog, Jax, to schools as a therapy dog.

Jeff and Genny became involved with JDRF almost immediately when their youngest daughter, Jordyn, was diagnosed with T1D at age 12.  She is now 18 years old and getting ready to go off to college.  When once it was thought a far off dream to see an artificial pancreas in Jordyn’s life time- now it is a real possibility.  This is due to the many strides made in research and development led by JDRF.  Jeff and Genny thank JDRF and all who have contributed to improve the treatment options and therefore the life of Jordyn and all who live with T1D.
