JDRF is looking for two Youth Ambassadors for the JDRF One Walk Green Bay and the JDRF One Walk Fox Valley: The role of the Youth Ambassador is to help “put a face on diabetes” and to educate the public about type 1 diabetes and why it is so important that JDRF accomplishes its mission to find a cure for diabetes and its complications through the support of research.

Here is what our 2018 Youth Ambassador, Caleb DeJong, from the JDRF One Walk in Stevens Point had to say about his experience. “My walk experience was amazing, they were so organized and the volunteers were super friendly. Being the youth ambassador was a great experience I loved informing people about JDRF and what they stand for. Overall the walk this year and the years in the past have been excellent.”
