Meet Our Youth Ambassadors

in

The Youth Ambassador Program was created to develop youth leaders within the T1D community. These individuals inspire others by sharing their T1D story, raise awareness for JDRF, educate the broader community about T1D and directly impact JDRF’s mission to create a world without T1D.

This year JDRF Wisconsin is happy to have 18 Youth Ambassadors helping us throughout the year! Of those 18, seven are returning Youth Ambassadors: Kash, Maleena, Paige, Callie, Lena, Mira and Hadley. There is no limit to how long someone may serve as a Youth Ambassador! Rounding out our group this year are joining members: Jahmiah, Jack, Brynn, Zakary, Zoe, Garrid, Jenna, Maddox, Connor, Madeline, and Talon. Welcome! We’re so happy to have you all and can’t wait to get started.

Our Youth Ambassadors come to us with a variety of different backgrounds. Scattered around the state of Wisconsin, our ambassadors are anywhere between 2nd-11th grade. We commend these students for their determination and passion for raising awareness of T1D in Wisconsin!

These students will participate in various JDRF events throughout the year including Walk, Gala, Ride, and more! Make sure you’re following our Facebook and Instagram to stay up to date on what these students are doing to educate those around them on T1D.
