Make a Difference, Have Fun, and Support the T1D Community
We are thrilled to invite you to the upcoming JDRF Wisconsin One Walks, taking place this fall in Stevens Point, Fitchburg, and West Allis. These events promise to be incredible gatherings of support, fun, and unity, all in the name of raising awareness and funds for type 1 diabetes (T1D) research.
Event Details:
Stevens Point: October 7, 2023, at Pfiffner Park
Fitchburg: October 8, 2023, at McKee Farms Park
West Allis: October 21, 2023, at Greenfield Park
There’s still time to make a meaningful impact and gather your family and friends to join us for a day filled with joy, entertainment, and a strong sense of community. We’ve got an exciting lineup of activities planned for you, including:
*Inflatables: Fun for all ages, bounce around and enjoy the thrill.
*Balloon Animals: Witness the magic as balloons come to life
in the hands of talented artists.
*Face Tattoos: Show off your creativity with temporary face tattoos.
*Hair Extensions: Express yourself with vibrant and stylish hair extensions.
*Mascots: Meet and greet with beloved mascots, making your day even more special.
*Vendors: Explore a variety of pharmaceutical vendor booths as well as JDRF resources and programs.
*T1D Parade and Picture: NEW this year! Parade to showcase why we walk followed by the all T1D picture! Watch one of chapters on the East Coast do their parade HERE.
But that’s not all! We have something special to kick off the festivities: the Virtual JDRF Fall Walk Hype Party. Join us on September 12, 2023, at 6:00 PM for new family teams and at 7:00 PM for returning teams.
